The World Hunger Grace was sung in unison. A hot turkey dinner served by the Liicknow U.C.W. was enjoy- ed by all.. Norma. Raynard iintroduc- ed Bev. Thompson, Beaver Division Commissioner; Barb Helm, Badge secretary;. Wendy Nixon, secretary treasurer for t the parents committee. The Brownie leaders were. introduced: Lin- da Owen, Lloya Nicholson, Elaine Steer; Ruth Pritchard and Ann Mann and the Guiders: Elenor McDonald, Lori McKim, Gail Cranston and Lorie Emmerton. Julie Davies proposed a toast to . the Parents and Charles Davies replied. Julie Nicholson proposed a toast to the Guiders and Elaine Steer replied. Don- alda .Thompson thanked the U.C.W. ladies for The delic- ious meal. and .Mrs. Leonard. Ritchie replied. Bev Thompson spoke briefly to everyone on behalf of Beaver Division. She also brought greetings front the Area Commissioner, . Mrs. Nancy MacLennan. . Ilene Greer brought greetings from Maitre District. Barb Helm reported as .Badge sec- retary. ' - Lorraine Brophy reported on Cookie .Day and thanked all the girls for their help and hard work and presented cheques. to Linda Owen for the • Brownies and Elenor McDonald for the Guides. Lori McKim, Susan Thompson and Marion Ray- nard, on behalf of the former Ranger Company, presented cheques of $35.81 each to Tanya Turner for the Brown- ies, Julie Davies for . the Guides and. The Guides then introduced themselves and their mothers.. Gail Cranston thanked the Guiders for all their help and encouraged the girls to go out and recruit new girls ` to join Guides.
