Move to St. Helens

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pegg
moved into their newly reno-
vated home. They purchased
the former Harold Fowler
residence and have been re-
pairing the home since then.
The house was gutted by fire
last summer. Mr. and Mrs.
Pegg have sold their present
house to Mr. and Mrs. James
Shaughnessy of Teeswater.
The community extends a
welcome to the Shaughness-
sys.
Ross and Elaine Errington
visited on Sunday with Lorne
and . Hazel Hackett and fam-
ily of Ashfield Township.

Grigg and family of Kit-
chener visited this weekend

Margaret McQuiilin spent
several days visiting with

theMay meeting of Nurs-
ing Mothers was held at the
home of Mrs. Ruby Bonnett,
R. R. # 1.Holyrood. "Family
Life with Your Breastfed
Baby" was the topic of
conversation. Mothers at-
tended from Lucknow, Tees -
r water, Blyth and Winghainit
areas.
.Jo -Ann Kirkland introduc-
ed the guest speaker for the
evening., Mrs. , Liz Owens,
Mrs; Owens is a: Family
Planning Consultant with the
Bruce County " Board of
I-ealth. She described differ-
ent,ntethods of 'family plan-
ning that could safely be
used during the breastfeed-
ing period. She also empha-
sized that the . birth control
pill should never be used by.
the nursing another for it
can cause a decrease in milk
supply and tan cause some
undesirable side effects in
the nursing infant.
Sorne very helpful litera-
ture was distributed. Mrs.
