Church was adorned with candelabra and arrangements of dried flowers of rust eryanthus, eucalyptus and white yarrow for the ,marriage of Janine -Ann Glenn of Lucknow and Gregory Lloyd Hamilton of Calgary, Alberta on Satur- day, April .11,;1981 at 7 p.m, Rev. Warren McDougall per- formed the double ring cere- mony. Copper, satin bows with silk salmon,roses marked the guest, pews: Parents of the bride are Mr, and Mrs. Oliver Glenn. of Lucknow. The groom's par- ents are. Mr, and Mrs. Don- ald Hamilton, also of Luck- now. The bride, given in mar- riage by her father, chose a gown of ivory jersey; featur- ing a caped blouson bodice. with high neck. The gown was trimmed with-maribou at the bodice and the chapel train. She wore anivory side -brimmed hat trimmed with silk guipieu...Her bou- quet was an unusual cascade of dried flowers_ and ferns: brown maiden fern, bleached cork -screw stems and seed pod 'flowers. •Barbara Van Diepenbeek of R. 7, Lucknow, was matron .of honour. She chose a . salmon coloured jersey cocktail -length dress with spaghetti, straps and match- ing jacket. She carried an ostrich plume with two tone silk . salmon ,roses, brown maiden `fern, baby's breath, lotus . pods and brown velvet 'ribbons. • Linda McQuillin, R. 7 Lucknow, Janet Waterworth, Goderich and Suzanne And- erson of Goderich attended as bridesmaids. They wore gowns similar to the matron. of honour. Groomsman . was Mark Chisholm of Pentictoni B.C., friend of the groom. Guests were .:ushered by. Graham Hamilton, Goderich, brother. • of the groom; Murray Ad- ams, Whitechurch, cousin of the bride, and Paul Handl • ton, Lucknow, brother of the.., groom. ,• The groom and his attend- ants wore brown tuxedos. with salinon, .pink bouton- 'nieres.' Ann Pritchard, organist provided the music and accompanied Larry. Mac. -'i�, Pherson of R. .2, ' Lucknow when he sang, Just the Way You Are, You . Are My Miracle and Longer," during the signing of the register. A reception followed at the Lucknow and District Com, munity Centre which was decorated with salmon col- oured silk flowers on . the tables- and a three tier :wed ding cake on the head table. The bride's mother receiv- ed wearing a copper coloured jersey dress with capeand a corsage. 'of . two tone salmon silk. roses. She was :assisted by the groom's mother, who chose an ivory figured dress with a corsage of dusty pink roses. The couple are residing at. 13104. Gail `: Huber of Goderich held a relative shower at her home for the Glenn -Adams relatives and .Barbara Van Diepenbeek" held a relative shower for the Hamilton-Gib- son amilton Gib -son relatives. Linda McQuil- lin held a girl friend shower at her home. The Royal Bank Goderich, where Janine was ,employed prior to her marriage, held ; a dinner at the Ali Baba Steak House in Stratford in her honour. She was presented with an auto- matic coffee, maker and a set of carving knives. The Lucknow neighbours' presented her with a toaster oven. A' stag and doe was. also held for the couple in the Dungannon . Agricultural Hall'. Pink and blue tipped glad- iola, mums' and babyr's. breath provided the setting for a spring, wedding which united in marriage Donna Louise Whytock and .Jim Allan Keller, on Friday, April 10; 1981. Albert <Keller of Kitch- ener. The bride, given -in mar- riage by her parents', chose a dress of silk organza. The 'layered skirt was a mass of ruffles of Alison lace, -falling into a chapel train. The bod.- ice featured long sheer .sleev- es with open lace cutoutsand a high Victorian neckline. She wore 'a boiler hat ac- cented with seed pearls and matc ing lace with a finger- ' -tip -vett of silk, illusion. She carried a sheaf of deep pink silk rosesand peacock teeth-. ers. Chris Holloway, 'Lucknow; friend ;ofthe bride, waspinaid of honour. She wore a tight blue polyester crepe street- _ length treet-::length dress with matching lace trimmed jacket. Rev. S. Miner -performed the ceremony, assisted . by Mr. A. Scott. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David A64 .Hackett, R. R. # 3, Lucknow. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hays, R. R. # 1, Wroxeter. . The soloist, Paul Inglis, accompanied . by organist, Mrs. Ruth Alton, sairg, The Wedding Prayer, at the beginning: of the service, and while the register' was being signed, The Rose, 0 Perfect Love was played for the pro- cessional and the recessional was Ode To Joy. The bride, given. in mar- riage by her parents, chose a formal floor length gown of silk organza, featuring slim lined sleeves ending in ruf- fled edging, a heart shaped neckline and full empire bodice of .Guipure lace. The full cathedral train fell from the waist ending in full ruffle all around. Her lace Juliet cap held a finger-tip double tier of illusion veiling, trim- med with matching lace. She carried a boquet of . sonya roses, daisy paints and ba- by's-breath. Lori Hackett, Lucknow, sister of the bride, was plaid of honour. Mrs. Kate Mar- tyn, Listowel, friend of the bride, Susan Irvin, Wallace - bum friend of the bride, and Haney Hackett, Waterdown, cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaids. The girls wore soft blue .gowns of silk jersey, featuring' a boat neck- line, blouson bodice with matching lace, three-quarter. sleeves accented with lace, and a full A-line ' skirt. A comb with blue flowers was w eawhite orried hair and they baskets of sonya roses, daisy palms and blue baby's breath. Jayne Vincent, Belgrave, cousin of the •= bride, was flowergirl and : wore a. long white dress of silk organza, similar to the bride's, featur- ing long sleeves with ruffled edges and ruffles around the hem. She carried a small Ill p gne polyester crepe with lace overlays, longsleeves and matching accessories and a corsage of sonya roses. The groom's mother as- sisted, wearing a street= length gown of rose pink polyester with . a pleated. skirt, long sleeves and tie at neck with white 'accessories white basket •similar to the and a corsage of red roses. bridesinaids.
