for the program.
Miss Janet Laidlaw sang a
solo With Mrs.: Agnes Far -
tier, pianist. A contest, Old
Sayings, was conducted by
Mrs, Bill Purdon. A piano
instrumental was given by
Marilyn Jamieson. Mrs. An-
gus Falconer gave two con-
tests, Names of Place, and
Names of Nuts. Pamela
Springer and Molly McBride
gave a duet with Karen
Young, pianist. Miss Milli-
gan, Faye Irwin and Mrs.
Snowden were then called to
the platform and given seats
of honour.
Helpers with the gifts were

Young. Clara Thanked the
folks who put on the shower,
all for coming, and for their
gifts and extended an invita-
tion to her open house on

husband passed away last
