her family recently. On
March 13th her brother,
Harvey Beaking died \ at

Brantford and on March 14th
_ her nephew, Hugh Jr., and
now Margaret's brother,
Hugh, passed away4at Whit-
by, Ontario. The, remains
rested in Teeswater at the
MacPherson Funeral Home
with the funeral service from
there at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Margaret'' is the last surviv.

celebrates 75years
The. Auxiliary tri Wingham
and District Hospital hosted
a most successful 75th anni-
versary coffee and tea party.
The occasion was held at St.
Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, . Wingham, on Fri-
day, May 8.
Mrs. Leona Stewart, Tees-
water, president of the auxil-
iary, greeted guests. On ar-
rival each person signed the
guest book. With this, Mrs,"
Stewart presented each
guest with a booklet of the
history of the hospital auxili-
ary, . leading into the present
day. Many of the guests
enjoyed viewing old. , books
and pictures which : were on.
display.
The church halt was .taste-
fully decorated. The . tables
were adorned with green
cloths and centre pieces of
spring flowers, Assisting at
the head table were Mrs, H.
Sherbondy, Mrs. Chris 'Cur.
rie, Mrs, Louise Swanson
and Mrs. Nin McKibbon.
Throughout morning cof-
fee . and afternoon : tea,.
guests enjoyed the music of
Mrs. Cora Robertson and
Mrs. Harry Bateman; both
very fine pianists,;
Mrs. Stewart thanked
guests and members of the
auxiliary for their time and
effort.
