The United Church held
their Thankoffering meeting
recently in . the church with
guests from Wingham. Cal-
vin, Brick, Bluevale, Luck-
now, St. Helens, " Donny-
brook, and, Whitechurch
Presbyterian.. While the
crowd was gathering, Jack
Whytock, on violin, and Mrs.
Agnes Farrier accompanying
on the piano, played He
Touched Me, Fill My Cup
Lord, and I Asked the Lord.
The worship service was in
charge of Mrs. Milian Moore
and Mrs. Agnes Farrier. A'
duet, Back•of the Clouds,
was by Mrs. Ackert and Mrs.
Houston. Mrs. Peacock, of
Bluevale gave. 'readings.
Miss Maryln' Jamieson gave

Brian's Song.
The speaker was Shirley
Bean• from Toronto. 'Her topic
was the Fred Victor Mission
of 'Toronto. She gave a very
interesting talk oh, the work
of the mission. Of interest to
many is that she. is Mrs. Cliff
Laidlaw's. daughterin-law.
Miss Cheryl Ross and,
Mike Slack of Owen Sound
spenttheweekend with Mr.
