Congratulations to the jun-
ior girls floor hockey team,
St. Joseph's Kingsbridge,
who were the champions in
the Huron Perth Zone play-
offs in Stratford on Saturday.
This is the third year they
hold this 'title. The junior
boys floor hockey team plac-
ed fourth in the finals.
Congratulations to Mr.
and Mrs. Rod McDonagh on
fhe birth of a baby boy,
Conor, on Sunday, April
26th. Mrs. McDonagh is the
grades seven and eight tea-
cher at Kingsbridge.
Lisa Frayne, Liz Vogt,
Denise Connelly, and Dun-
can Simpson were students
from this area taking part in
the school band exchange
trip with students from Mas-
sey SecondarySchool, Wind-
sor. They were in Windsor
from Wednesday to Saturday
where they played at a
concert, toured the automo-
bile assembly plant and
visited the Detroit Zoo. The
students from Windsor had
previously visited the stud-
ents here.
A correction in last week's
column, Lisa Frayne and
Denise Connelly received
their third gold bar in the
Scottish Highland and Scot-
tish National dancing exams,
not their second as previous-
ly mentioned. We apologize
for any inconvenience this
error may have caused.
