The W.M.S. held their
April meeting on, Wednesday
afternoon, April 15 . at the
home of Mrs. Wm. Rintoul.
The leader, Mrs. Elroy Laid -
I law, opened. the meeting.
with the call to worship.
Mrs. John Bell led in
prayer. Miss Annie Laidlaw
read scripture. Mrs. Elroy
Laidlaw gave the meditation.
The collection was receiv-
ed and dedicated by Mrs.
John de Boer.
Ten answered the roll call
with a verse of scripture or
poem with the word, Cross.
The topic, :the crucifixion,
the death of Jesus, and the
' resurrection was clearly de-
scribed.
The president, Mrs. Ruely
de " Boer presided for the
business. The minutes were
read by the secretary, Mrs.
Bill Purdon. The Good Friday
services to be held at the
United Church were,announ-
ced.
An invitation was extend-
ed to attend the U.C.W.-
meeting
.C.W.meeting on May 6 when
guest speaker will be Mrs.
Shirley Bean. I

was held following the
W.M.S. meeting. The collec-
tion was received and the

Kids met for their final
meeting of this . club at the
home of Mrs. Charlie Wilk-
ins on April 4.
The president; Gayle Mac-

your wardrobe that coordin-
ate with the new garment
you are making for the 4-H
project.
The minutes were read by
secretary. .Elizabeth Wilkins
and a work meeting is sched-
uled for Monday, April 20.
The books are to be handed
in on April 15.
The members played a
Clothesline Quiz and then
discussed plans for Achieve-
ment Day which consisted of
ideas for our skit: The Case
of the Uneven Hem.
