In the bright sunshine last
Saturday afternoon, April 11,

the spray Pune baa eking, tur-
ning and, then flying low
north to south as it was work-
ing ' northeast of Ripley. It
was sprayingfertilizer on
the fall wheat fields for Gor-
don Patterson, and Walter
Forster. The fields are on the.
Robertson homestead on the
10th concession and less than
a mile fromthe northeast
,part of Ripley.- From the
direction the plane flew to
and from the field the pilot
was lately using the runway
at the farm -of Bill and Nina
Wyld onthe sixth concession
west in Huron township.
Two Ripley people, were
able to return home after
undergoing surgery and a
week stay in Kincardine and
District Hospital. Noreen
