agency of the Mennonite

Self -Help shops and craft
sales across the United Stat-

On Thursday evening the.
Dungannon Youth Group
held a card party at Drook-
side SchoolTherC were six
tables of players. Bessie Mc-
. Nee was 'high. lady, Donald
Curran was high man, and
Wayne Snyder won the door
prize. •-
Marybelle Aldham and
Larissa of 'Inglewood visited
on Sunday with Mrs. Mary
Bere and other members of
the family.. .

A group of Dungannon Old
Girls enjoyed a visit together
and
a delicious spring unc -
eon at the home of Mrs.
Lauretta McClure Hefford. It
was hoped that Mrs. Lauret-
' te Treleaven would .be pres
ent so they could celebrate a
belated 90th birthday with
her, however everyone pres-
ent signed a card to send to
her. Guests were Wilma
Treleaven Woodford, Edith
Treleaven Younkie, Louise
Anderson, Hilda Finnigan,
Flora Durnin and friend, '
Nora Creyke and Margaret
Pentland Pritchard. Irene
McKelvey, Alma Hunter and
Ethel Case Hay were 'unable
to attend, Many friends of
years ago ' were mentioned
and remembered. . . .
Dungannon United Church
Mr. George Cowan spoke
on the topic, Palm. Sunday
and You and Me. The child-
ren's hymn was, Hosanna in
• the Highest. .
Dungannon session meets
in the- church on Monday
evening and Nile session on

The Dungannon Youth,
-Group are having a meeting
on ThileSday evening. The
young people in this group
are willing to rake lawns,' cut
grass, clean windows, etc:
for anyone in the area. There
is no charge but a donation
would be appreciated to help
them with their church pro-
jec s.
The Willing Workers held
an Easter Supper Friday ev-
ening attended by members
of the community.

Ladies from Trinity
Church, Ashfield, Lucknow,
Auburn, Nile and .Goderich
participated .in the Easter
Thankoffering with the Dun-
gannon U.C.W. in Dungan-
non Church.
The speaker ' was Mrs.
: Harvey Webster, who titled
her. inspiring message, Liv-
ing, ,and gave many ideaslor
• living d Christian life, esp. ee,
laity by helping others, in-
cluding the handicapped.
She was introduced by Mrs.
Olive Blake. °

Mrs. Elsie Irvin gave a
reading, Bethlehem and Cal-
vary. The Dungannon ladies
put on a skit, %mien of the
Cross, which included light -
Mg candles. Mrs. Tinie Log-
tenherg sang a solo, Near
The Cross. Mrs. Elsie Hous-
ton of Lucknow played a
lovely instrumental on the
piano. Mrs.. G. Kerr and
Mrs. A. Feagan of Nile sang
a duet, The Lord is My
Shepherd. The Craigellen
singers of Goderich, sang two
numbers, Must Jesus Bear
the Cross Alone? and My
Tribute,
Lunch was served in, the
basement at the conclusion
of the meeting and a ,social
time Was enjoyed. -
