Rev. McDougall has served
in the Alberta Conference at

River District approximately.
320 miles north of Edmon-
ton.
Warren was born in Han-
over, Ontario and was raised �.
on his parent's farm in that
area. His home church was
Crawford United Church
which is a rural point on the
Elmwood. Pastoral Charge.
His wife, Lynneis from the
Chesley area, They have two
sons, Eric 5 and Mark;. 2
He received his theological
training at . Emmanual Col-
lege in. Toronto.` where he
graduated with a Master of
' Divinity degree in 1976.
While at Emmanuel, . he'
received the Michael Fawcett,
Award for public speaking.
He was ordained• by fhe
Hamilton,Conference in June
1976::
Warren. has been active in.
the. Peace River Presbytery
work ..where for three years
he Served as chairman of • the
Division • of Christian dev-
elopment. •
For two years he ,served ;on
the. Grimshaw..and `District
Recreation Board and was
involved with the Chamber of
Commerce. P
Reverend McDougall plays
the piano and enjoys music.
The public is cordially, in-

on Friday evening at 8 p.m.
A 'social hour will follow in
the fellowship room where
there will be an opportunity

The proceeds are to go to the
March of Dimes. On the
weekend Murray Irvin and
Audrey. Ritchie were dele-
gates to the Junior Farmers
Conference held in Toronto.
At this provincial conference
the Ontario Junior Farmers
presented a cheque for
$15,500 to the March of
Dimes. '

Thompson ' passed away .in
the Kingsbridge•' Rest Home
on March 15th, 1981 in his
86th year.
He was born in Kincardine
Township on August 17,
1895. He had Kin-
cardine ,Township until 1957
and then he moved to R. R #.
5, Lucknow. He enlisted in
the. first World War and was
a • member of the ` 160th
Battalion and was also a
Veteran Guard in the Second
World War.
On December 26th, 1923,
he married Margaret Wilson,.
who predeceased him in
August, 1961. He was also
predeceased by a son, Ross,
in infancy (1932).
He is survived by two
daughters, Wanda, (Mrs.
John .-Evans), Kincardine
Township; Donaida, (Mrs.
Jack MacLean), Ripley and
one son James R. of
Kinloss Township. Two
brother's, Stanley of Kincar-
dine'Township and Robert J.
of Hanover, also survive, as
well as seven grandchildren
andthree great grandchild-
ren. •
Besides his wife and son,
he was predeceased by three
sisters, Clara (Mrs. Robert
Ross), Isabel (Mrs. Norman
Clinton) and Violet • (Mrs.
John A. Wilson).
The funeral service was
held at .the MacKenzie . and
McCreath Funeral Home,
Ripley . on .Tuesday, March
17, 1981 With Rev. James
Bushell officiating: 1.0.0.F.
No. 172 Kincardine held a
service pn Monday evening
at 9 p.m. He was a member
of the Lodge , for antdst 64
years.
Pallbearers ' were three
grandsons, Joseph Couck
uyt, Patrick Dunn, Wayne
McLean and three neigh=
bouts, Donald MacIntyre,
henry Har"temtnk and Leon-
ard Maclnnes Flower bear-
ers were Kirk Dahmer and
Gordon Dodson.
Final resting place will be
the Kincardine Cemetery.
Mrs. Marie Austin of
Scarborough, formerly of
Kingsbridge, died in
Providence Villa, Scar=
borough on Friday, March 20
at the age of 88. •
She was born in
Teeswater, Ontario on
January 23, 1893 to John and
Catherine' (Murchison)
Meyer.
She was a member of St.
Joseph's Roman Catholic
Church in Kingsbridge and a
member of the Catholic
Women's League.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Clifford S
Austin and one daughter,
Mrs, Leonard a (Veronica)
Woodley. .
She is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Jack
(Many)- McConville of
Scarborough, Mrs. Ambrose
(Agnes) Hartman of Kit-
chener
itchener and Mrs, Hillary
(Loretta Marie) Menard of
Des.Moines, Iowa; two sons,
'Raymond of Toronto and
Jack of South Porcupine;
one sister, Mrs. J.K.
(Loretta) Baechler of
Goderich twobrothers,
William Meyer of Sarnia and
Edwin Meyer of London; 15
grandchildren; and ib great-.
grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held at
St. Joseph's Church;
Kingsbridge on .Monday,
March 23 at 11 a.m. The
Reverend Father E.J.
Dentinger officiated.
Prayers were said at
McCallum Funeral Home in
_. erich on Sunday evening,
March 22.
Interment was in St.
Josephs Cemetery,
Kingsbridge.
