on the handicapped and with

capably illustrated her sub-
ject. She said one person in
ten is. disabled, and .listed
many disabilities on the
blackborad. She :emphasized
that these people want em-
pathy and understanding,
not pity.
Members formed into
groups, to illustrate what.
some .;people have.. to ever -
come . totake their place in,
the world. One group tried
joining dots on a . paper.
hidden from them by looking
in a mirror. The second
group tried writing with their
left hand andwriting while
• holding a pencil in their
mouth. The third group tried
to identify with, closed eyes
various articles handed
to
them. The last group practic-
ed ,the
racticed:.the sign language and
illustrated a wordd by hand.
All came to a better under-
standing of what being han-
dicapped means.
All joined in silent,prayer.
Mrs. Irwin concluded the
program reciting a poem,

introduced' a young guest,
Andrew Grazier, who told us
of his epileptic seizure : and
the treatment he, had had,`
Andy is confident that with
lots of rest and available •
medication . he will be able to
do the things he wants to do.
