A card party will be held' March 25 at Brookside Public •School. The guest speaker for this meeting was Bob Kelly. He and his wife do all kinds of leather work. He . brought along several articles he had, made .:as well as samples of different leathers. His dem- onstration was . quite inter- esting to all. The meeting ended with a game of ` floor hockey for any members who .wished to play; Elect executive' The Lucknow Junior 'Wom- en's Institute met in the Town Hall * on Tuesday, March 10. • President, Shirley Colwell, opened the meeting. Nancy Aitchison presided for the election of officers for the coming years as follows: president, Shirley 'Colwell; vice-president, Sherry Alton; secretary -treasurer, Cecilia ,Miltenburg and public rela- tions officer, Elizabeth Irvin. The meeting was then turned over to .Nancy Brown, who showed two excellent film obtained from the Can- adian 'Cancer Society, "It's • Your Decision" and "The Feminine Mistake".
