the consolation trophy at the
Lucknow Legion Flea Tourn-
ament Saturday for the sec-
ond, straight year. Eight area
novice teams - competed in'
the event at the Lucknow
.Arena.Belgrave won . the
tournament championship:
Teeswater'played Lucknow
in the opener with Lucknow
losing 9 2: Brad Murray
scored Lucknow's goals with
Rod Crich •:assisting on, one.
Ripley played Brussels los-
ing 7. - 1 with David Moore
scoring the Ripley goal as-
sisted by Jerry Godfrey.
Tiverton defeated Blyth 7
1 and Belgrave won against
Mildmay 3 2.
Lucknow entered the con-
solation round against Ripley
in a cliff hanger which ended
in a 4 4 tie. A shootout
decided the winner with
Lucknow scoring two goals,
making the final score 6 - 4:

it was a boisterous home-
coming Monday morning
when the bus load of Juven-
iles and their fans reached
the town limits at 2.30 a.m.
A;ith the horns blaring and
tired, but happy players hol-
:ering from the open .wind-.

had defeated Wainfleet by a
score of 5 - 3 to take a'. 2 -1
lead in 'their, .best of five
O.M.H.A. quarter finals.
After losing in Wainfleet
last Sunday by a. score: of '9
2, the Juveniles regrouped at
home Saturday night and
tame out skating.
Lucknow took an early 2 - 0
lead and later stretched it to
•1-1, but halfway through the
second period Lucknow let
up on the pressure , and
Wainfleet came storming
- back.
At the midway point of the
third period the visitors had
tied the score at four before
Lucknow came back to life.
Two, . minutes ' later Brad
Humphrey did a fancy bit of
• stick 'handling in front of the
Wainfleet net before putting
away the game winner and
from then on it was all
Lucknow with three' more
udanswered goals.' •

goais followed by Brad Hum-
phrey with two while Larry
