the playathon to raise money
for ` the exchange . trip to
Windsor. It lasted from 3 ,
p.m until midnight, The
Windsor band is coming to
Goderich in April and the
Goderich band will return in
May.
Mr. Tom Webster is `'a
patient in St. ' Joseph's Hos-
pital, London, following a
ki e ' stone operation on
Friday y morning. He was first
admitted to Wingham Hos-
pital early.Monday . morning

then transferred to London
on Thursday. His daughter,
Mrs. Ettabelle Bradley of
Goderich who is an R.N., has
been with him throughout.

of Leondard and Olive Chis-

is . home for a ten day
break from Stratford Cones-
toga
' College of:. Nursing;
after which she will , be
completing her final module
in the registered, nursing
course. .. Charlene Rourke,

Mr. George Cowan spoke
on, ``The Means of .Grace",
which are worship of God in
fellowship with other wor-
shippers, prayer and Bible

We are investigating the
building of an adventure or
creative ' playground. It will
provide children withmore,
imaginative types of play.
These playgrounds provide a
sandbox, balance' beams,
shinny . poles, climbers and
wooden structures. It would
provide rovide. facilities for use
by the community including
such activities as family
reunions, picnics etc. If there
is sufficient interest for the.
playground, we will set in
motion the necessary plans.
• All . through the week,.
classrooms have been read-
ing the London Free Press.
From our activities during
"Newspaper Week" we have
been finding out about the
different sections of the
paper.
Extra school activities":
have been added including
broomball, basketball, floor
hockey, 'bordenball and :'crab
soccer. The students enjoy

Kenzie, opened the meeting
and all members answered
the roll coil , which was' to

secretary, Elizabeth Wilkins,

phick passed out covers and

amount of "money in the
treasury at present.
The leaders discussed and
demonstrated, with the help
of various members, apply-
ing, interfacing, extended
facings and lapped zippers.
Then the members filled out
a Cryptogram Review. The
meeting closed with. the 4•H
motto and refreshments.

On Friday, students went
skating from 2 - 3 p. m. Some
.parents came to help tie
skates and to assist the child
ren' who can not skate well;
