\ Norma Maclntyre and Sus-
anne Helms of Denmark
have been ° pen pais for 12
Years: Last week Norma had
the pleasure of a vist with
Susanne, who lives in Gjstru-
1 pholm, Denmark.. Susanne
came to Canada last year and
has been touring our country
and parts of. United States.
She plans on returning to
Denmark on. March 14. I
Mr: and Mrs. Ken . Hous-
ton have returned home after
holidaying with Joy's Aunt
and uncle in Vancouver. Joy
went across to Victoria to
visit with Ken's uncle, Hugh,
for .a day.
Mrs. Clarence Allan, win-
ning at bowling in a'210' and
under tournament in . Luck -
now, went on to Walkerton
and placed there to go into a
tournament which' was held
in Orillia on Sunday with a
mixed league. This team
placed fourth.
Sympathy is extended by
the community to Mr,\ and
Mrs. Jim Burt and family on
the death of Jim's father.
The funeral was held on
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Norm Scili
and Nancy . Burt of London
and Mr. and Mrs. Ken
Holcombe and family of St.
Thomas were home for the.
weekend with their parents,

weeks.
