Mrs. Davis is survived by
one sister Florence, Mrs;
Emerson Xnowles ' of Lon-
don, , whose daughter is
Marilyn Dunlop, a reporter
with the Toronto Daily Star.
Before her marriage Arnan-
da Morgan was a• public
school teacher in Huron
township.- She is predeceas-
ed by her husband George.
Since he is buried in Oakville
Cemetery it is thought likely
she will also be buried there.
There was no family.
She was one of eight
members in the family of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Tom,
Morgan who started on the
12th concession east of Pur -
tile Grove. Next they moved
to the 'Logan farm' where

John D. MacKay now lives
and Wally Pollock owns and
operates the farm except for
John D's lot. On selling it to
the late Ben Logan Mr. and
- Mrs. Morgan bought the
• farm to the south where his
granddaughter Marion
McTavish now lives and
I owns the house and Jerry
. Huber owns and operates the
farm and barn.
In this Morgan family
there were three more
daughters ,and two sons, all
deceased, besides the two
• daughters already mention-
ed. They were Nellie (Mrs.
Matt Gemmel') of Ripley,
Agnes of Michigan, Anna of
Ripley and Margaret Emma
of Calgary and sons Eli and
Joe.
The funeral service for
Mrs. Myrtle Oliver of
Ashfield township was con,
ducted last Saturday after-
noon in Pine River United
Church at Reid's Corners by
Rev. Bob Putman minister
of the blurt*. Visitation
prior to the funeral was held
last Friday at the MacKen-
zie McCreath Funeral Home
in Ripley. After the funeral
service burial was in the
Hillsdale Cemetery at
petrolia. Mrs. Oliver died
last Thursday Feb. 12, 1981
in Goderich Marine and
General Hospital.
She is survived by her hus-
band Lyle Oliver of Ashfield,
two sons Allan of Toronto
and Keith Of Ashfield and
one grandson. , The Oliver
home farm is on the west
side of highway 21 and it is
the first farm north of the
Calico school, north. of Kin-
SylrapP.thy is extended to
the Oliver family at this time
of bereavement.
Last Sunday morning,
-Feb. 15,1981, Mrs. Catherine
Roulston of the Second Cori -
cession, Huron township,
died in the Pinecrest Manor
Nursing Home in Ludulow.
Mrs. Roulston, the former
Catherine MacDougall of the
Tiverton area, was in her
72nd year. She was born on
Mon., Oct. 25,1909. •
• Surviving are her husband
Walter. and son Gordon both
on the horne farm, the se-
cond one west of the Olivet
church corner in Huron twP;
one daughter Mary, Mrs.
Harvey Orr of the South
Line, Kincardine township
and two grandchildren and '
WO sisters. The funeral ser
vice was held yesterday
afternoon, Tues., Feb. 17,
1981, at the MacKenzie Mc-
Creath Funeral Home in
Ripley and conducted• by
Rev. Jim Bushell minister of
St. Andrews United Church
in Ripley. Winter entomb-
ment in the Cemetery
Cape' will be followed by
spring burial hi the Ripley
Cemetery. Sympathy is ex-
tended to the family at this
time of bereavement.
Sudden death
Well, here it is late Sunday
afternoon and Ab Wylds has
finished writing the above I
part of this column. The
phone rings. My wife Fran
answers the call. Mrs.
Isabell '(Jim) Brooks Of.
Ripley reports that her
neighbour Mrs. Marie
(Orah) Crawford has just
received the news of the
unexpected sudden death of
Kenneth Aitcheson of Toron-
to.

na, the forma' Edna NieLay
of Malcolm Street and a
Classmate of ours at the
R.C.S., one son Robert, and
one daughter Sharon, and his
sister Doris Smith of Lon-
don, and a sister-in-law Mrs.
Mae Cotton of Grandview
Lodge in Dunnville. Ken was
predeceased by his parents
Bob and Florence Aitcheson,
well known Ripley residents
for many years. Again
sincere sympathy is extend-
ed at this time of sad
bereavement.
