The minutes of -the Jan- uary meeting were read, and adopted on motion of coun- cillors : Cranston and Durnin. The Clerk was, requested to again. call Doug MacEach- ern at the Ministry of Natural Resources, Wingham, re- garding the traffic hazard' from vehicles parked on Con- cession 2 3 by: skiers; The Clerk . was . asked . to contact Maitland Valley Con- servation Authority in reply to a;letter requesting a visita- tion by Authority representa- tives to a Council meeting, suggesting the :March meet - in Council - such : g of n for u. cha visit. Kathy Olson, Dungannon, representing. the Dungannon Twirlettes, requested Coun- cil to pay a grant to the Club assist t with expenses. A motion by Councillors Cranston. and Brindley ,auth- orized the issue of a building: permit ; to H. Errington Ston for construction of a garage. Motion by Councillors: Cranston and Seeger, That the' Municipal Council . of the Township of, West Wawa= nosh hereby authorizes the i Reeve and Clerk to submit the Annual Petition for Sub- sidy to the Ministry, of transportation and. Com- munications in the amount. of $182,260.70. Board Chairman Jack Kop- as, and West Wawanosh representative, Frank Mac- Kenzie, of the Wingham and District Hospital. Board of Governors,attended the meeting and Mr. Kopas ex- plained the renovations tt e for the df `ch are , whichproposed Hospital 'building.
