Township Council took place
in the Office of the Municipal
Building on Tuesday ';after
noon, February 3,1981, with
all ,i members present and
Reeve Durnin presiding. .
The minutes of -the Jan-
uary meeting were read, and
adopted on motion of coun-
cillors : Cranston and Durnin.
The Clerk was, requested
to again. call Doug MacEach-
ern at the Ministry of Natural
Resources, Wingham, re-
garding the traffic hazard'
from vehicles parked on Con-
cession 2 3 by: skiers;
The Clerk . was . asked . to
contact Maitland Valley Con-
servation Authority in reply
to a;letter requesting a visita-
tion by Authority representa-
tives
to a Council meeting,
suggesting the :March meet -

Twirlettes, requested Coun-
cil to pay a grant to the Club

Street to Victoria Street, Murray commented
the worst part of the street is up over the hill
along Barry McDonagh's property. He said
if this were completed in • 1981, the
remainder of the project, including the storm
sewer on Albert Street could be carried over
until 1982.

mentary grant of $15,000 $20,000 to
complete these Street and Wheeler Street
projects. Shoutl MTC refuse the supple-
mentary grant, council will reconsider their
1981 road program once the cost of snow
removal for the winter is available.
