February 5, 1981 in her 55th
year

on March 29, 1926, she "was
the daughter- of Mrs, Mary
MacDonald, formerlyof Ash-
field Township, and the late
R. D. MacDonald.
She married Roy Alexand-
er Havens of Lucknow„on
December. 27, 1950. 1950.
Sl is survived by her
husband, a daughter, Mary .
Ellen, Mrs. Douglas McLean
'of London, a. son,. Roddy at
home and her mother, Mrs.
Mary MacDonald of Sarnia;.
A sister, Mts. Bertha Taylor
of Sarnia and two : brothers,
Kenneth MacDonald, Ripley
and„ Roderick MacDonald of
Strathroy, also survive.
She' was predeceased by
her 'father, R. D. MacDonald.
The funeral was held from
the MacKenzie and.
McCreath Funeral, Home in
Lucknow on Sunday, Febru-
ary' 8, 1981 at 2 p.m. with
Pastor Don Darrell of Luck -
now United. Church conduct-
ing the service,
Temporary entombment is
in South Kinloss 'Mausoleum
with spring burial in Green-
hill Cemetery.

passed away recently.
Left to mourn besides her

grandchildren, one sister.

Thomas James Morrison

Whitechurch, died at Mani-
toulin Health Centre on Mon-
day, February 2, 1981, fol-
lowing a lengthy illness.
A self-employed mechanic'
for 50 years, `; he was a
member of the United
Church ,Fellowship Fund, Lit-
tle Current, Branch 309 of
the Royal Canadian Legion,
Lucknow, and the Fish and'
Game Club, Little Current. '
He was born in• Winghan
on September 5, 1907, a son
. of the late James Morrison of
Langside and the former
Eleanor Hession of Clinton:
He. married` Connie Buck-
ton of Preston on April 4,
1938 at Guelph;
He is survived.' by his wife,
a daughter, Marilyn, Mrs.
Frank Stockill of South Por-
cupine, and two sons, Jim of
Lucknow and Ken of South
Porcupine. He is also surviv-
ed by a sister, Edna Case -
more of Brantford and two
brothers, Jack of Southamp-
ton
ouChamp
ton and Jim of Essex. Eight
grandchildren also survive.

The afternoon VV.M.S.. of
the• Lucknow Presbyterian
Church held their February
meeting at the home of Mrs.
Noble Johnston, on Wednes-
iiay. February 4.
Mrs, Cyril Brown opened
the meeting by welcoming all
theladies present and, read,
Love's Philosophy. 'Mrs,
Austin Loree gave the open-
ing prayer. .
The secretary, Mrs. Laid-
law, read the mitiutes of the
January meeting, followed
by the roll call.
'Mrs. Ena Henderson read
severalletters and cards
received: from St. Vincent in
regard to the girl the society,
is, sponsoring.
Mrs, Laidlaw dealt with
the business and correspond-
ence.
Mrs. Wallace Wilson gave
an -interesting reading in
regard to the Shepherd's
Love for his sheep.
Mildred Loree took up the
offering and Mrs. Clara
Crowston gave the offertory
prayer.
Mrs.Jessie Johnston gave
the Bible Study and medita-
tion and stressed God's
Love, found in -the' Bible.
Mrs. Ena Henderson gave
the Mission Study on India
and Nepal, followed by an
interesting taped interview.
Mrs. Brown thanked all who
took 'part and the hostess ,for
the use of her home.
Mrs. Evelyn Little closed
with prayer, The hostess and
the committee in charge
served lunch.
