Mrs. Helen Nicholson was
involved in a car accident on
Wednesday. In spite of the
extensive damages done to
the car, Mrs. Nicholson was
treated for minor injuries and
released from ',hospital. The
accident was due to the very
stormy conditions.

The death occurred in, Sea -
forth on. Monday, January .26
of Hugh Malcolm ,Thoripson
in his 69th year, as the result
of an accident.
In the late 1930s Mr.
Thompson and his late wife,
Margaret, owned a shoe
business on the east side of
Southampton Street in the
Tittle shop just beside where
the Eldon Austin family now
reside ,..He retired from the
shoe repair business in Sea,.
forth in 1980.
He is survived by one son
Ken of Quebec.
:Mrs. John Young, who had
been staying . with , her
daughter, Mrs. Ainy Wig-
gins; - is now a resident of
Pinecrest Manor.

Kincardine Hospital on Mon-
day, February 2, for diabetes,
regulation.

the funeral, of Mrs. McWhin-
ney's nephew, who died
suddenly .on Thursday, Jan-

anuary 29 in his 45th year at
Ingleside. The funeral was
held on Saturday, January 31
at Finch, Ontario, He is.
survived -by. his wife, Mrs.
Iva Blair and five children.
