,This week the Pee Wees
posted one win and two ties.
On Monday, in Teeswater,,.
the home team had an easy
skate until late 'in the game.
Chris CollYer opened the
scoring on a pass from Brad
Priestap but Teeswater came
back with three straight and
looked to have the game in
hand.
Finally, with just 2.26'left,
'
Chris Irwin scored assisted
by Steve Murray and Brad
Priestap and' the team saw
some . hope. As the last
seconds ticked off, Donnie
McFarlan picked up a` loose
puck at center ice, put'on a
burst, of speed that took him
around two defenders and
scored with just one second
on the clock. Final score 3 - 3.
On Friday, in a re -mater at
home, the Lucknow lads de-
cided to come out skating'
and wound up with a convin-
u cing 7, 0 shutout. John D.
MacKenzie had a 4 point'
night, Donnie McFarlan had.
3 points; Chris .Irwin, Danny,
Gilchrist.. and Chris Collyer
had 2 points each and Brad
Priestap . had 1 point: •Dean
Lindsay ,and the defensive
crew recorded :'their third
shutout.
On Saturday, in Teeswater,.
to, play Teeswater 'B's, the
Lucknow boys had an, even
match with good action by
• both teams. Lucknow opened
the scoring on a classy goal
by Jamie Humphrey. Tiny
Treleaven started the 'play at
our blue line with a pass to
0 Brian .Reavie. Brian's pass to,
Scott Hackett then gave Scott
and Jamie a perfect 2 on 1..
Scott drew the . defenseman
and put the pass on Jamie's
stick for the games first'goal.
Teeswater tied the score
midway. in the third but hard

Ripley for the annual . Lions
Midget Tournament. "' ,i
Howick supplied the oppo-
sition and came out flying,
scoring on their first rush.
Jerry Searle stopped three

Murray paid' off in a goal at

While victory looked. pos-
sible, the . Teeswate rr team
was not about to .quit and
scored a short landed goal at
