Mrs. Jack Van Osch, Luck
now, passed away.: ,at the
Wingham , and District ;Hos-.
-pital on Saturday, January 3
1981 in her eighty-first year.
She had not enjoyed good-
health for some time.
The former Joanna Goes
mans, she was born in
Holland, on September 10,
1900. She married Jack Iran.
Osch on May 220928 in
Holland,
In the summer of • 1949,
they, along with their young
family, immigrated to Can-
ada. They lived at Amberley
for a short time Until purch-
asing a farm on . the 12th
concession of Ashfield where
they resided until 1964 when
they sold the farm to their
son and moved to Kings
bridge: until moving to 'Luck -
now in 1976

Jack, she is survived by two
daughters, Dora, Mrs. Mor-
ris Schuurmans of London,
Joanna. Mrs. Tony Middi-
gael of Blyth, five sons, Bill,
Pete, Antone and Joe, all of
Ashfield' and John of Water-
-100.
ater-*loo, She is also survived by
thirty four grandchildren,
three brothers and three,,
sisters in Holland. She was
predeceased by two sons,
Jan in 1939 and Jack 1964,
three brothers and three
sisters in Holland.
Mrs. Van Osch rested at
the MacKenzie Funeral
Home, Lucknow, On Monday
afternoon St. Joseph's
C.W.L. Kingsbridge and St.
Mary's C,W.I,., Lucknow,
said. the Rosary at the
Funeral Home. Family Pray-
ers were. said at the Funeral
Home on Monday evening.
The Funeral Mass and
Services were held at St.
Joseph's Church, Kings-
bridge on Tuesday morning,
January 6 with Father Den,
tinger officiating. Members
of St. Joseph's'C.W.L. form-
ed an Honour Guard up the
centre .:isle of .:the • .church4
Four grandsons, . John,
Steve, Ken Von Osch and
Jimmy Middigael were Altar
Boys,.
Pallbearers were " ;six
grandsons, Bernie, David,
Perry and Michael Van Osch,
Paul Middigael and John
Schuurmans.
Flower biers were eight
granddaughters, Linda, San-
dra; Colleen,, Sharon, Agnes,
Brenda, Sally and Lisa. Van
Osch. The scripts readings
during the Mass were done
by. grandchildren„ Brent, Di-
ane and Joanne Van. Osch.
The Offertory Gifts ..were
taken up by, grandchildren,
Brian, Donna, Jim Van Osch
and Karen Middigael.
Temporary entombment -
was in the Dungannon Maus-
oleum
with the final resting
place , being St Joseph's
Cemetery, Kingsbridge.
Friends and relative's were
present from Barrie,' Wain -
fleet, Picton, Queensville,
\Embro, Seaforth, Blyth,
Dublin, tendon, Waterloo,
Ayton, Hanover, Crediton,
Corrie and surrounding ar-
eas.

Pinecrest ' Manor Nursing
Home on Sunday, January 4,
1981 in her 79th year.
Boma April 6, 1902, a
daughter of the late Alezand-
`er" Nicholson and the late
Isabella MacDonald of Kin-
loss Township, she attended
S. S. # 7 Kinloss, Imams,
Continuation ` School and
Wingham High School.
She graduated from the
University of Toronto in 1925.
asa medical doctor and inter-
ned in Philadelphia. She did
post graduate work in Edin-
burgh, Scotland, and spent
some time at Bellevue Hos-
pital, New York and at Smith
College, Northampton before,
going to Saskatoon in 1930.
She married Dr. Norman
Wright of England on Oct-
ober 23, 1935 at Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan.
Though a specialist ` in
anaesthesia, Dr. Wright; Was'''.
also a general tioner.
Much of her ak was in
