women in Syndey, Australia.
Sharon MacNay, :formerly of Amberley, is
the founder and co-director of Solar ,Plexus,,.
a club exclusively for women, designed to
provide every facility necessary to promote
health, fitness and `beauty. • .
A 'large number of working women need
the convenience of an inner-city location and
Solar Plexus offers the full range of facilities
at One location in the heart Of the city.
The Solar Pleius permits a woman to take
an exercise class, have her hair styled, ` a
manicure and a massage all at one location. -
And the women of Sydney appreciate the
convenience. The dub had a membership. of
S90 members after only three weeks.
For members, the club offers a choice of
subscription schemes to use -its facilities and
classes. As well as professionally designed
exercise classes to music, with , free child
care, and jazz ballet gasses, the club offers a
fully equipped gym, sauna, a tanning
solarium, showers, change, and lounge
areas, a health food bar, nutrition and diet
advice,,. hair styling, manicure beauty
treatment and massage. . .
Some members prefer to join the 30 or 45
minutes classes on a casual basis at S3 °a
session including use of shower, . sauna,
bicycles and vibrator belt.
Members include solicitors' secretaries,
public service clerks and typists, and execu-

six enthusiasts even turned up for the club's
first early -bird exercise class before work - of

the 1980 Great .Lakes ' Tractor Pullers`
Association standings.

Porter received first place trophies at the
association's banquet held in Alvinston , on
Saturday night.
Another Lucknow tractorplaced second is
the 9,000 modified class.; Helm's Packard
V-12 took second place to the . Noisy Lady in
the class and placed seventh in the 7,000
pound class.,
The Great Lakes Tractor Pullers' . Associa-
tion includes tractor pullers from south-
western Ontario and Michigan state, The
association's pulls were co -sanctioned with
the Michigan Tractor Pullers' Association.
Art Helm of Lucknow is the immediate -past
president of the association and van stand as -
