died in Victoria Hospital,
?' London on Sunday, Decem-
ber 21,1980 at the age of 72.
An adopted daughter of
the late James Aitchison and
the late Margaret Mills, she
was bairn► in West Wawanosh
on June ;20. 1908. She is
- urvived by a sister-in-law
Mrs. Jim Aitchison, Wing-
ham;
ingham; four nieces, Margaret.
Purdon of Diuigannon; Marie
Button of Blyth; Jean Er-
rington 'Of West Wawanosh
and Dawna Morgan of ,Ker,
wood . and three nephews,
Jim Aitchison and Bob Ait-
chison of West, Wawanosh
and John Aitchison of Brus-
sels.
She was predeceased by
her parents, a sister. Han-
nah, and five brothers
Cairns, John, Archie, Roy
and Jim.

Manor. on Wednesday., Dee -
ember 31, 1980 in her 91st
year.
A member .of the Lucknow
Presbyterian Church and the
Women's Missionary Soci-
ety, she was the daughter of
the late John Purdon and the
late Margaret Kelso of Lan-
ark County. She was born on
April 30,. 1890.
She married T. A. Camer-
on, Lanark County on ,Sept-'
ember 28, 1910 at McDon-
ald's Corners, Ontario.
She is . survived by . a
daughter, Jean, Mrs. Mason.
Robinson of Wingham, and.a
son, Ralph Cameron of Luck -
now.
She was° predeceased by
her husband, in 1976 and. a
son, Glen. in ;1952.
The funeral service was
held from mn the MacKenzie
and McCreath Funeral Home
in ..Lucknow on Saturday,
January 3, 1981 at 2 . p.m.
with Rev. Hugh Nugent of

John Gordon Clark of Col-
borne Township died in Vic-
toria` Hospital, London on
Saturday, December 20,1980
at the age of 49.
He was born in Goderich
on March 5, 1931 to Tait and
Jean (Young), Clark.
He was a life long resident
of Colborne Township and
worked as the road super-
intendent for . the township
until .seting in : January,.

bara and two sons, Kevin
and Murray, all at home; one
sister, Mrs. John (Joan)
Gibson of Wroxeter; one
brother, Jim Clark of Dray-
ton Valley, Alberta; and his
mother, Mrs. Jean Clark of
Colborne, Township.
He was predeceased by his
father, Tait Clark,

Interment was in Colborne
Cemetery,Colborne Town-

ALUSTER HUGHES
After a. lengthy illness
Allister Hughes passed away
in Wingham and District.
Hospital, December 28, 1980
in his 85th year. He was born
hrKinloss Township, a son of
the late Ben Hughes and
Jane MacDonald. He attend-
ed S. S. No.5 school in
Kinloss and later enlisted
with the 160th .Bruce :Batta
lion and served overseas for
about 4 years. When he
returned he took overthe
farm.
On .June 7th, 1922 ,he
married Jean Webb' of .St.
Helens. They livedf on lot 11
concession. 5, Kinloss until
the farm was sold. in, 1973.
Allister was interested and
active in ' many community
projects and served on school
boards, cemetery board for
50 years, Culross Insurance
and was road superintendent
for several years:
'He was first president of
the Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 309 andwas a
member of . Old Light . Lodge
No. 184 and just recently
received his 60 year Masonic
Jewel.
Surviving besides his wife,
Jean, isa sister, Mrs., Annie
Kennedy of Listowel.
Funeral service was held
at the MacKenzie and Mc-.
Creath Funeral Hume, Ludt
now on December 30, .198D at
2 p.m., with, Rev. Wm-
Munshaw of South Kiploss•
Presbyterian Church con-
ducting the service, The
Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 309 and the Masonic
Lodge held services the
previous evening

Chapel.. Final resting place ' Home in Goderich on
South Kinloss Cemetery. Saturday, December 27.

year.
Born in Kincardine on
September 24,1921, he is the
son • of Russell Johnston,
Dungannon, now residing at
Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow,
and the late "Greta Jane
'Johnston.
He is survived by two
brothers, Irvin, B.C., and
Harold, London and sisters,
Muriel, Marjorie and Ethel
of London.
He was predeceased br his
mother and one sister, Velma
McGregor.

burial in Mount Pleasant
Cemetery, Toronto.

December 20 at the chapel of
the church. Attending' the

also a niece, Mr:, and Mrs.
