here to survive.
On the main street of
Ripley there are two
business changes to report.
First there was the closing
of the grocery store at the
south end owned and
operated by Mrs Grace Car-
ruthers with the assistance
of Mrs Grace Murray as
part time clerk It was dos-
ed last Wednesday evening
New Year's Eve. Then this
coming Saturday Lorne and
Linda Emmerton are open-
ing the old Ripley Drug
• Store in the middle of the
block. This time they will
operate ,it as a hot food
takeout place. Ripley can
• stand a few more boosts in
the core right now.
For the second time in the
past week the folks in the
Ripley Huron area were
shocked by the sudden death
of ell known load men.
• First it was Norval Stewart
of Olivet on Christmas Day.
• Then it was Lloyd WykLs of
Huronville on New Year's
Day. Huronville, a mirth of,

death Lloyd was the presi-

is also survived° by seven
• grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, and cousins.

the folks in this area extend
sincere sympathy on this
sudden bereavement. Lloyd
