To my suspense 1. hope to see a brand new Colleco Vision. Wow! will I yell with excitement. Ha hoo. I might scream. I will hook it up and start playing Donkey Kong. My parents might all of a sudden yell, "Be quiet!" I will say "O.K." Wow 1 got more than any one in the world. • This sure makes me happy& By/David Carter, Grade 5, Kinloss Central. Christmas I think Christmas is a great time of the year because you get guns and lots of things that you like. I hope to get a race car set, and He -Man. It is fun to have lots of things to give to other people. By Tim Woods, Grade Kinloss Central. Lucky Santa Christmas time is coming soon, Santa's in distress. More toys are wanted, Santa's in a mess. The elves are out of energy, Only trains and trucks they have. If he isn't very careful ' There'll be none left. Three more kids need presents, • One more they'll have. Dear little children write lists. Young children get presents. Christ was born on Christmas. And Wise Men came to see a Newly born child. . Santa Got The Chickenpox The Second night •before hristmas Santa got these red bumps on his arm. He could not keep from scratching them. He would not even talk to Mrs.. Claus when she asked if the toys were ready in the big, red bag. Santa would not answer her. So she went to MS bed. She said, "You have the chickenpox." "I have Chickenpox. I can't take the toys to the homes." Who will deliver the presents to the children? Do the Reindeer have the chickenpox? "Yes," said Mrs. Claus, "They do have the chick- enpox." "I will deliver the toys," said Mrs. Claus. Morris Boris and 1 will deliver the presents this year. "You will," said Santa! Yes I It's been 21 years since I delivered them. I hope you will feel better when I get back. Who will feed the Reindeer? I have some elves to do that. This,is the big night. Morris Boris, it is you and 1 and two elves to deliver the presents tonight. Is the bag in the sleigh? When they were ready it was snowing hard. Santa asked if she was still going out. "Yes, I am going to deliver the presents. I Am leaving at 10:(10 at night. I hope to be back at 5:00' in the monring. If 1 am not, back don't worry because 1 will find the (way home." Mrs. Claus was surprised when she got home. She could nct tijieve her eyes. santa Was better and‘had a Christmas tree up and hot chocolate ready for her. He got rid of the chickenpox and Santa was happy, fie even had soar presents for Mrs. Claus. By Tanya Sutherland, Grade 5, Kinioss Central. The Reindeer Disappear Once upon a time at the North Pole Santa and his elves .were getting ready for Christmas. They were working really had ' to get the- toys ready in time. It was two days before Christmas and everything was almost ready. The day before Christmas Mrs. Claus got Santa's bag ready. Santa went out to get the reindeer hitched to the sled. The reindeer were gone! Santa came running into the house and yelled, "The reindeer are gone!" "Where could they have gone?" asked Mrs. Claus. "I don't know," said Santa, "but we have to find them. Come on let's go find them. Hurryll". "Hey, I see some hoof marks in the snow„" said one of the elves. "Come on let's follow them. It leads into a mountain." "It must be hollow," said Santa. "Let's look for an entrance. Here's a lever. Pull it. Oh boy, all the reindeer are in this hollow mountain." And there were the reindeer, and Rudolph too! How happy Santa and the elves were! With a rush they got ready to head off on Christmas Eve. By Steve Bushell, • Grade 5, Kinloss Central. The Time the Elves Mistook a Bomb •- for a Present • It was Christmas Eve and Santa was • getting ready. Everything •was ready so Santa hopped into his sleigh and kissed Mrs. Claus goodbye. He stopped at 'the first house. He delivered his presents and went on. By now it was seven in the morning and he had delivered all the presents except one. He started home, then he heard a ticking noise so he landed to see. what it could be. He opened the present and to his surprise it was a bomb! He was in the Arctic luckily. And then I realized it was Christmas Eve. When I wentdownstairs and looked around there was nothing there. He was gone! There was nothing! I bet that Ebenezer Scrooge took the gifts. That mean thing. 1thinkI'll • call the police andet them track him down. 1 hope they get him. Ten minutes later the phone rang. It was the police. They had, caught him and he had the gifts'.
