A half ton truck coming from Wingham crossed over the highway and,, crashed into a Cadillac parked at the west end of the former Wilkens' house and pushed it over onto. neighbour Ivan Laid - law's lawn with the motor still running. The fire department had to be called in case .of explosion. There were three tow trucks, an ambulance which took truck driver to,hospital for a check up and police. Both truck and car were towed to Wingham: Thanksgiving dinner for her family was held by Doris Wilkens at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Steffen, Chrissy and Susie on Monday.
