Institute members host English visitors
The Women's institute ladies, Mrs. Jill
W ooliscrpft and Mrs. Elsie Lucas, visitors
from England W omen's Institute went with
Mrs. Agnes Farrier to Southampton 'on
September 19 where they were met by the
institute which was to sponsir them this
week. Their stay is for two weeks. Mrs.
Russel McGuire. got Mrs, nne Clendon
from Southampton for this week. She had
been with Mrs. Ribey of Bruce. The ladies
all' carne from Staffordshire County,
England.
Michelle Snieder of Kinloss spent Wed-
nesday evening with. Karen Lubbers, as
her parents were attending the Plowing
Match.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill McBurney of Ajax are
visiting this week with Mrs. Wesley Tiffin
and with Wesley at the Wingham Hospital,
• and with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis, Scot and Mark.
of La Salle, spent the weekend with her
mother, Mrs. Agnes Farrier.
Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Emerson, Darlene
and Brenda of St. Catharones spent the
weekend. with Mr. and Mrs. Orland. Irwin
and family, and .on Sunday afternoon
visited Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
Mr. and Mrs. Russel. McGuire and their

AnnieClendon, were Sunday afternoon
callers on Mr. and Mrs, Victor Emerson.
Mr. and . Mrs. Bill Mc$umey of Aja
were September 22 visitors with Mrs.
Wesley Tiffin, and with Wesley at
Wingham Hospital,
Congratulations to Mr. and . Mrs. Simon
de Boer on the birth of twin boys: on
September 14 at W ingham Hospital. David
and Daniel are brothers for Mariam, Sarah,
Benjamin and Lorraine,
Recently Mr. and Mrs. John A. Currie
attended. the 'graduation ceremonies for
son Paul, graduating at the Harbour•Castle
Hilton Hotel, in Toronto, as an engineering
technician from Radio College, Toronto.
The Cultural Activities and Education
Women's Institute meeting' was held
September 17 in Whiteechnrch. Community
Memorial. Hall with a pot luck supper at
6.30. Mrs. John A. Currie presided for the
program. The roicall was answered by
quotations. The motto, "Happiness is just
a love of Life", was given by Miss `Merle.

REGISTRATION POLICY
Players must be registered by October 11, 1985 for the following reasons:
1: Re: CAHA Compulsary Insurance Coverage, names of players must be submitted
by October'15th for the insurance coverage. Administration cost will have to be added
for, late registration.
2. With the size of our. system, it is impossible to book ice time and delegate coaches,
etc. for t'he various teams if we don't have players registered.
REGISTRATION DATES FOR THE: 85-86 SEASON
September 30 to October 4, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 'at The Lucknow Arena
October 7 to October 11,, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The thcknow Arena
