A large number of the families of Trinity
United Church attended the inaugural and
induction service for Dungannon' Union
Pastoral Charge on Sunday evening at
Dungannon.
Our minister Rev. Bob Roberts was in-
ducted asminister of the charge by Huron -
Perth Presbyterian. The student minister
John :Williams . was introduced and
welcomed. The clerks of session of each
congregation called upon each congrega-
tion to stand. The chairman of Huron -
Perth Presbytery, Rev. Don Pletch of Mit-
chell, officially installed the new Pastoral
Charge.
Trinity Sunday School began on Sunday
morning and they had some filen strips.
Congratulations to Russel and. Lillian Ir-
win who celebrated their 35th wedding an-
niversary last week.
Jim and Isabel Hunter arid Sally Ritchie
visited recently with *Jack and Wanda
Millar of Barrie.
The local children who started
Kindergarten .at Brookside Public School
last week are: Laura Wilkins, daughter of
Larry and Janet;, Allison Hackett,
daughter of Wayne and Gloria; Amanda.
Wylds, daughter of Steve and. Brenda;
Roberta Vance, daughter of 'Jim and
Kathy; Lisa Menary, daughter. of Ron and
Joanne. We wish' you all, and all the other
school children, a successful year.
Visitors with Don and Sherry Alton,
Vanessa, Heather, Sandra and Kathryn
last week were/ her parents. Bill and
Marion Reynolds and friends, Rhoda and
Elgin Cowan of Ridgetown.
We welcome the new student minister,
John Williams, and his wife Tammy to the
manse at Lucknow.
Mary and Harold Hackett of Ottawa
visited with Cora Cranston for a few days
last week.
Pat and Bob Kelly have moved to Lon-
don and have sold their home to Donald
McDonald. I received a note fromPat and
Bob as follows: To our friends and good
neighbours who always had a helping hand
and friendly smile.

The nine combines must have harvested
the crop in record time, starting at about 1
p.m. ,and had the crop in the bin at 5:30:

the night. Those 'who helped with com-
bines, loader tractors, tow tractors,. burn-

A new 4-H club has. started at
Kingsbridge called the Mad Mixers.

Newlyweds in the community are Mr.
and Mrs. Shaun Dalton (wee Laurie Gib-
son) married on Aug. 31 at. Pine River;
United Church. They will be living at the
Harold Adams farm at Port Albert.
Great grandmother Arabell Bushell
spent Sunday afternoon with Grandma and
Grandpa Bob and Jean Simpson.

1985-86 year.
Eric Courtney, who has been working for -
Westinghouse Canada Inc. in Libya, North
Africa is spending holidays with his
parents Joe and Teresa Courtney and
family.
