All the great eclenttsts, Mr. Durnin
pointed out, mentioning the name of
Sir Oliver Lodge among them, who
have investigated the spirit hypothesis
without prejudice have found there Is
something In it.
An instance was shown in which a
Bishop of the Anglican Church In
Vancouver, B,C., sent a telepathic com-
munication to his daughter 600 miles
away at an hour prearranged by both
parties.
Another instance given was that of
the gentleman who received 'tome publi-
city beeanee of the fart that he could
receive a radio message without a re-
ceiver.
All these were due to telepathic vi-
brations, Mr. Durnin believed.
An open forum of dfacuasion ensued:
On Friday night Mr. Durnin con-
cluded the merles of lectures by dealing
with the subject of Christian Social-

of the meeting addreesed by Mr. Dur-

Dr. Martin was reported as having
stated that the medical procession

that In past time hypnotism was em-
