Huron County to
choose Dairy Princess
The committee responsible for selecting
the Huron County Dairy Princesswill have
a difficult responsibility with the six
contestants entered this year.
The young woman chosen to represent
the county will be announced during the
evening of September 6 at the Brussels
Community Centre.
• Marg Murray is a 16 year old from
Dublin. She attends Seaforth District High
School anfl has started grade 12. this year.
The daughter of Connie and Arthur Murray
• works as a fieldhand in Exeter for Len Ven.
She plays basketball, baseball and piano
"oceasionally".
Mardaret Heipel is another Grade 12
student but attending Central Huron
Secondary School in Clinton. She lives on
FL R. 3, Clinton with her parents Earl and
Irene. The 16 year old works at Sandralea
Farms and enjoys Cycling, tennis and
generally likes all kinds of sports.
• Laurie Schneider has just started a job at.
Keynote Computers in W aterloo. Sheis the
daughter of Leon and Jean of R R 1.,
Fordwich. She is 18 and participates in
Various sports and Crafts and plays, piano.
Brenda Nancekivell, 16, also plays
piano. She sings, as well, and plays
volleyball and fig* skates. The daughter
of Larry and Lynne, works at the Redwood
Restaurant in Clifford and attends' Grade
11 at Norwell Secondary School.
The single university student in the
contest is Liz Stewart of Seaforth, who is
attending the University of Guelph in her
first year. The 18 year old is the daughter
of Mac. and Joan and has a variety of
interests including broomball, playing
piano and shows cattle as a member of 4-H.
She works at McLee Farms.
Darlene Darlow is the daughter of Ralph
and Sharon of Wingham. She attends F. E.
Madill Secondary School and is in Grade
11. Darlene is 16 and works on her parents'
farm. She enjoys horseback riding and 4-H.
Tickets are available at the door of the
• Brussels Community Centre for $6.50.
Lunch will be served at the September 6
event.
