A shower was held in the Community
memorial Hall on Wednesday evening for
Karen Quipp, a bride-to-be. A crowd of
around ipo gathered to honour her. Mrs.
Pewtress and Cathy Edgar conducted
contests. She received many beautiful gifts
for which she thanked thOse who sponsored
the shower and the folks for coming and
their gifts. Lim& 'was also served.

Lucknow- Agricultural Society met on
Tuesday, July 23 for their regular meeting
•with 15 members present. '
Flans were finalized for the 15th annual
Craft Festival on August 2 and 3. All space
inside has ,beep booked for some time. A
few crafters are hoping the 'weatherman
will co.:operate so they can set up outside.
Donations from Huron Hay of $75.00 and
Huron Poultry Club of $10,00 were
• received after the prize book was printed.
The elementary school work was judged
at Brookside School on July 16.
Committees were set up for the Deinoli-
' tion Derby on iday, August 9 at 7 p. m, at
