Dungannon UCW
The June meeting of Dungannon
U.C.W. was held in the church on the
evening of June 18. Ladies from Nile
U.C.W. and from Benmiller (sister
church in prayer) were invited.
Nora Saunders welcomed the guests
and Karen Roberts led in prayer. Helen
Dawson read the scripture and readings
on friendship. Donna Alton read two
poems.
The guest speaker was Dorothy
Pentland . who, with her husband
Laverne, went on a trip last November to
five countries including Japan, Taiwan,
Hong Kong and Thailand.
They travelled 26,000 miles and
Dorothy's informative talk explained
their trip so vividly the listeners felt they
were there also.
Roberta Linskill gave three numbers
on her piano and accordion. She supplied
song sheets and everyone joined in a
sing -along.
