Cc&lers on Saturday at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Emerson were Mr. and
Mrs. Donald Severn of Sanger, California.
Mr. and Mrs. Severn were seeking infor-
mation on their ancestors. Also visiting
was Mrs. Isobel Arnold and Mrs. Gertrude
Tiffin.
Wilford Clipperton attended graduation
exercises for his grandson, Jim Rutter on
Saturday.
The National Convention ,of the W om-
en's Institute is being held this week in
London.
Congratulations to Michelle Fraser and
Stephen Tiffin on taking part in Lucknow
Central School's trip to Ottawa. They
returned home on Friday.
Miss Cindy Moore moved the first of
June to an apartment in Wingham where
she will be near her work.
Mrs. Dora Uuldrik of Whitechurch
passed away in Wingham and District
Hospital on Friday, June 14. She was in her
76th year. Mrs Uuldrik, the former Dora
Faber, was once a resident of Holland. She
was the wife of William Uuldrik.
She is survived by her children, Peter
Boonstra of Calgary, Alberta, Fred Boon-
stra of London, Morris Boonstra of
Edmonton, Alberta, Ronald Boonstra of
Wingham. She .was stepmother of John
Uuldrik of Kitchener, Mino Frulton -and
Coby Campbell of Stoney Creek. Also
surviving are 18 grandchildren and three

George Gaunt visited Sunday with his
parents,, Mr. and Mrs. John Gaunt to
celebrate Father's. Day.
Kevin Beecroft of Hanover spent the
weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. E. W. Beecroft.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elliott of Brussels
were Sunday visitors with Mr. -and Mrs.
Walter Elliott. Jeffery, Leslie and Matthew
accompanied their parents.
On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott
were in London. They visited with Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Laidlaw, Jason and Michelle.
They- also called on Mr. and Mrs. David
Elliott.
On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Carl
McClenaghan visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond Des Roches of London. They also
paid a visit to Mary Johann in University
Hospital. On the way home, they visited
with Mrs. Eileen Parker of Exeter.
Mrs. Mary Lou Glover of Sarnia' visited
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Milligan to
celebrate Father's Day. Mr. and Mrs.
Steve Irwin and Cody of Luclopow also
helped celebrate. //
Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Falconer and Jackie
helped Mr. and Mrs. Angus Falconer
celebrate Father's Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ducharme of Goderich
visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Elroy
Laidlaw for Father's Day.
Recently, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw
were in London to visit with Mr. and Mrs.
Tom Vannus and their daughter, Lauren,
who is their granddaughter.

Neighbours on the 12th concession
hosted a shower at Ttinity Church for Elva
Ritchie, a—July-tree-, on Friday evening.
Congratulations to Katy Hackett who has
successfully completed Phase Two of
flower designing at University of Guelph
last week. Katy is employed at Dixie's
Flowers of Goderich.
The official board for Ashfield, St.
Helens pastoral charge held their last
meeting Tuesday, June 11, 1985. This
charge began in 1969. Calvin United is
having a dosing worship service on
Sunday, June 30 and Trinity will be closed
so members can attend their service.
Rev. Arthur and Mrs. Scott, Darrell and
Ian are moving to Huron Haven, near
Goderich, where they will be working with
the -Free Methodist Church in Goderich.
Get well wishes go to Bob Kelly and to
Willy Hendricks, who are patients at
University Hospital, London.

Edna Frank of Timmins spent the past
two weeks with her daughter Dawna and
Gary Richardson, Scott and Ryan.

days last week visiting with her parents,

no funeral home visitation. A private
funeral service will be held at ..the
McBumey Funeral Home on Tuesday with
burial at W ingham Cemetery.
Skits performed
The June meeting of Donnybrook
U.C.W.' was held at the home of June
Robinson on June 11, 1985 at 2 p.m. with
Wanda Jefferson and Luba Strutton in
charge.
Mrs. Jefferson opened the meeting with
the call to worship on Time. A hymn was
followed by the scripture read by Mrs.
Strutton. Donna Bieman, Ruth Hardy, this
Charnney and Margaret Hildebrand took
part in a skit, The Years that Count.
Two hymns were sung and Eileen
Hanna, June Robinson and Alice Jefferson
read a number of stories.
After Mrs. Strutton read a poem,
another hymn was sung. \ Mrs. Jefferson
closed, the meeting with a prayer.
Margaret Hildebrand took!! over the
business portion of the meeting. Jean
Johnston and Eileen Hanna served a
delicious lunch.
