Sask., on Sunday last, of Nathan
Johns, a former well-known resident
of Colborne township. The funeral
service will take place on Saturday

JUDGE A. D. DICKi&
The death occurred on Saturday
last of Judge Alexander Duncan Dick-
son, of Humboldt, Sask., and the event
marks the passing of another of God-
ericb's "old boys" who bave won dis-
tinction. Deceased was born in God•
erlch on November 1001, 19MK, the
youngest sun of the late William and
Margaret Dickson, of this town, his
father being for many years governor
of the county jail. He studied law
In the office of °arrow & Proudfoot,
and removing to QuAppelle, Bask.,
In 1890, practised law there for some
thirteen yearsosaod was then appointed
Judge of the district of Humboldt. He
Is survived by lila widow, the former
Edith H. Smallwood, daughter of
Canon Smallwood, of Canterbury Ca-
thedral, England. There were no child-
ren. Three slaters, Mrs. Wm. Proud -
toot, who at present' L vlatting 1n
Oodertch, Mrs, C. It Craseweiler and
Mrs. Wm. Dickson, of Leamington,
and one brother, Dr. J. F. Dickson, of
Portland. Oregon, survive. The fun-
eral was held on Wednesday afternoon
at Qu' Appelle, interment being made
