Two years ago she and her husband had
attended a Brotherhood of Anglican
Churchmen breakfast at .Lurgan. The
speaker impressed both of them so much
they felt the call to offer themselves to
undertake this worthwhile work of setting
up a crisis centre. It was Slow going at the
start, but is now progressing well.
There is a need for counsellors, helpers
and drivers. Persons are allowed to remain
there for 4 to six weeks. These problems
can happen in any community, at any time.
It's a kind atmosphere in which those who
have been abused and need help can live.
Mrs. Delbert Hedley expressed 'thanks
and presented her with a gift. A get well
card was signed. Mrs. Roy Collins gave the
courtesy remarks and delicious refresh-
ments were served by the hostess.
