How'd you like to hear the story of my life? Just keep walking I'm on your feet anyway. Well, it all started in the factory when I was born. All these machines poking at me and making my eyes, body, tongue, soles and treads. It was an event to remember. Anyhow, after I was totally finished, a man came and shoved me in a box full of tissue paper, then put a lid on top. After that the man loaded me on a truck with more boxes. (at least 12 left at home). Soon the truck came to a sudden stop, and about 16 other boxes fell on top of me. (thank goodness I was O.K.). Then the man took out all the boxes and set them on a shelf in a big room with many chairs and stools in it. I was very anxious to be tried, on. When the man opened my box I felt as if I had just had an attack, but I sat still as the man checked me over. He then turned to who he called his son and said, "How'd you like this pair?" "It's a perfect make and your favorite colour, blue." His son, which is you, said, "I think it would be the best pair, rve ever had." So the man had you try me on. After I was on your feet you jumped and cheered, so did I. You than took me home and carefully set me beside your bed while you washed up. The next day, you wire me tolschool and your friends stepped on me and got me all muddy. Boy you were angry! As soon as you were off the bus you took me inside and washed me. Thanks, because i hate dirt. For the next six months you got pretty careless with me but now you • ve started to take better care of me. All in all you're' the best friend I've ever had (not to mention the only friend). I try my best to take care of you. So let s mozzy on down the path of life. OUCH! You stepped on a hard rock, that hurts you know. Oh well to this OUCH! day you HAVE NOT TAKEN THE GUM OFF THE BOTTOM OF ME!! "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize how much we ignore shoes but they love us. Let's be friends? "0...OUCH.. What's that?" "Oh nothing, just my old age," "After the adventures you've had, I think I will take care of you and keep you always! You are my best friend! "and your mine!" He _ took each class into the buts. Constable Uoyd taught the smaller grades the bus rules. As the grades got older he stressed how to use the fire extinguisher, and which windows to break out when the doors cannot be opened. Also, Uoyd told us how far away the triangles have to be from the bus when an accident occurs. We 'learned a lot and we ' should all practice bus safety.
