Bev Domm is a RN. at the Pinecrest
Nursing Home.r(*ler job is to make sure
that the resides get their Medication at
the right time. They also have to. receive
treatments that are charted along with the •
medication on each resident's chart. ..
Some other jobs are: Director . of.
Nursing,: Health Care Aide; who baths and
feeds the residents; Activity Director, who.
arranges programs; Laundry Staff, Clean-
ing Staff, and Maintenance Staff: Some of
the programs at the Nursing Home are:
Crafts, Adopt a Grandparent, Church
Groups present services and Bible Read-
ings.
There are 61 residents in theNursing
Home. Two-thirds are women. The , age of
the oldest resident inthe Nursing Home is
103.

Colwell forms
New area business
Bruce Colwell of Lucknow has been
manufacturing canes for over two years.
He started making canes after he discov-
ered •that snomobile .sliders made good
canes but they hurt the hands. He then
ealled the manufacturers in Maine and got
samples of plastic and began developing
and marketing the cane.
The Unbreakable Livestock Cane is
made of tough, ultra-high molecular
weight polymer. He has set up his shop for
making the canes and *fifth wheel plates.
The fifth wheel plate (5 slider) can be used -
on pickups or transports.
Bruce Colwell is also a fanner, Scout -
leader and on the Board of Directors for the
Lucknow Co-op.
