She is the representative for our school. She was .encouraged by a neighbour to seek election on the Bruce Board of Education back in the fall of 1980. She represents the townships of Culross and Kinloss and the villages of Lurknow and Teeswater. Mrs. /7 Armstrong is now in her second term, at the enol of her first term there was an election but no one ran against her. There will be another election this November. When asked, "What makes a good qualified board member?" She hoped it would be someone interested in the educa- tion program.. She enjoys being apart of the -board, she has learned a lot about how the system is set up, and she has met a lot of people who have become friends. Another question she was asked was, "How do you hope to succeed as a board member of the Bruce Board of Educa- tion?" She said she would like to get re-elected this fall; she likes to represent the people fairly, and take their concerns to the board. ' Stephen Tiffin, Grade 8 Ai
