changed Wedding vows at St. James
Church in Seaforth on March 30, 196. The
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Morrison of R. R 1, Lucknow. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ruston
of Seaforth..Matron of honour was Janet
Shapton of London. The bridesmaids were
Lynda Vincent of R R 1, Seaforth and Kay
Morrison of R • R '1, Lucknow. The best
man was • Roger Morrison - of R R. 4,
Seforth and the ushers were Lloyd and
Barry Morrison. After the reception at the
Seaforth and District Community Centre,
the couple left on a honeymoon to Bavaro

DEVITT - Graham and Carol (Brown)

James on April 6, 1985 at St. Mary's
Hospital, Kitchener. A first grandchild for

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Devitt, Cape Corral,
Florida.

Peace Fair coming
Huron County will be hosting its first
Peace Fair on June 22 at Camp Meneset-
ung, three miles north of Goderich..
The Fair, which will be family oriented,
will' Include theatre, music, co-operative
garnes, workshops and. a family picnic.
The Fair is being sponsored by the Rural
Learning Association, and will be advertis-
ed throughout Southwestern Ontario. For

McQuillin, Jack and Ron, were Doug and
Donald MacLeod of Vanastra and Mr. and
Mrs. Hermiston of Latchford and Barb and
Don Nichol and family of Vanastra.
Home to visit with their parents, Mr. and

sons, Mr. and Mrs. Jack MacInnes and

Students go to Science fair

Four students who advanced from the
regional science fair at Holmesville to the
county fair at Exeter were Heidi Pritchard
with Growing Conditions 'for Plants;
Debbie Debold with Is There Such a Thing
as Liquid Mold?; Ken Strong with Stomach
Soothers; and Melissa Logtenberg with
Sleepwear Precautions. .
Mr. liddle's grade 6 class would like to
thank everyone for helping to make their
Fun Fair last week a big success.
Miss Jewitt's grade 2 class is doing
research on Indians.
Both grade 1 dasses are making Spring
booklets. Mrs. Blanchette's grade 1 are
making dinosaur booklets and also a mural
showing children running, playing and
enjoying the Spring weather.

home after a 26 day bus tour across the
United States. Several days were spent in

The kindergarten classes are learning
the signs of Spring using their five senses.
Mrs. Tebbutt's grade 4 class is research-
ing on climate zones in the library.
Mr. Sygrove's class learned the meaning
of S.L.N. which is "Smile, Learn and be
Nice". They are reading the book,
Charlotte's Web.
Guest story readers in Mrs. W orsell's
grade 3 class were Mrs. Lillian Hallam last
week and Mrs. Chris Ritchie this week.
On Thursday, April 11, grade 3 enjoyed
the movie Hercules, to end their unit on
Greek Myths. They invited grade 6 peer
partners to join them and all enjoyed
popcorn and pop at intermission/
Mrs. Ottewell's grade 2 - 3 Class and
Mrs. Worsell's grade 3 class are working
together this week on fairy tale centres.
Owen Sound visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Don Taylor and family.
Congratulations go to Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Errington on the birth of their grand-
daughter last week. Proud parents of Laura
Danielle are Mike and Valerie Tanner of
Walkerton. Laura was born on the same
birthday as her cousin, Michael MacGilliv-
ray.
