All candidates' meeting
The Huron County Federation of Agri-
culture is sponsoring an all candidates
meeting for the Huron Bruce riding. The
meeting will be held at the Wingham Town
Hall April 16 at 8.30 p.m. Candidates for
this area are Murray Elston, liberal,
Norma Peterson, NDP and Michael
Snobelen, PC. '
Baptize infant girl/
Baptismal service was held at Ashfield
Presbyterian Chiirch on Easter Sunday.
Baptized was Amanda Danielle, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Rick McQuillin. The
family enjoyed dinner -after at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kempton at Point Clark.

' Mr. and Mrs. Harald Haldenby of Sarnia
visited over the Easter weekend with Barry
and Marie Haldenby and family. They
celebrated Harold's birthday on April 6.
While Beryl Hunter was on. a ,trip in
Florida. she had a surprise visit from her
brother, Harold Gardner. He spends his
winter months at St. Petersburg, Florida.
Spending Easter Sunday with Ernie and
Pat Good and girls were Bob Purves,
Brenda and Ed Lippert, Claire Sterner, and
Geraldine and Mike Schlosser.
Elmo Sanderson of Luclmow will be
leaving this Wednesday, April 10 to .go
back to work on the boat, The • W illow-
Glenn. He has been home for the winter
months.
A number of people have returned home
after spending the winter months in
Florida; Lenore and Oliver Glenn and
Joyce and Bill Adamson.

AT THE LIBRARY
This coming Tuesday, April 16, at the

program for boys and girls age 8 - 12.
Starting at 4.30, p.m., Miclde McClear,
former head of Children's Services for

the world of make believe with her unique
storytelling talents.
