Announce medal winners at Brookside science fair

Clash Day was held March 28 with prizes
for the following categories: most stripes
and checks, most unusual outfit, most
different colours, worst matching outfit.

For grades 6 8 there were two categor-
ies for the projects, biological and physical,
W inners in the grade 8. biological division
were Heidi Pritchard, what growing con-
ditions are best for plants?; Debbie
Debold, liquid mould; Laurie Hayden,
heredity; honourable mention, Joey Cur-
ran, seed growth; Kim Tyler and Jaquie
Dawson, food colouring and plants.
Winners in the physical division were,
Ken Strong, stomach acids; Ellen Hum-
phrey, which fabrics resist fire; Sherry
Hodges, paper towels; tied for third,
Shannon Kerr, cleaning methods and
stains.
Grade 7 winners at the science fair in the
physical division were Donnie, Gammie,
chemical magic; Melissa Logtenberg, fire
safety; Rachel Fairbairn, microwave; Bob-
bi Anne Menai'', cleaners.
