On Monday,March 11, 1985 'the
Lucknow and District Kinsmen Club held
their annual skate-a-thon at the Lucknow
arena. Attendance was down this year but
23 skaters participated with nine going the
full eight hours. •
There are prizes of. $25.00, $15.00 and
$10.00 for the top three money earners.
Pledges are to be turned . in at the
McDonagh Insurance office on or before
March 31.

Tracey Visser,,. Donnie. Cuillerier, Kelly
Stevenson, Angela Cranston, Andrew

Kim, to Mr. Mike McDonagh, son of Mr.

Bert Moss of West W awanosh Township
won $1,000 in the Wingham and . District
Hospital Lottery draw Friday. The lucky
ticket Was drawn by Margaret Sanderson of
R 1, Bluevale, a patient at the hospital.
Proceeds fromthe lottery go, towards the
Wingham and District Hospital Building
Fund. Two more draws' of $1,000 each will
be Made April 30 and ,May 31 with the
grand prize draw for a 1985 Ford Tempo
GL 4 door sedan to be made June 20.

the draw to receive a weekend for two at '
the Chelsea Inn, downtown Toronto. The
prize includes a two night stay, a dinner for
two at the Chelsea Inn, valued at $60, two
field level tickets to a Bluejay game and
$100 spending money. Tickets will be
available from any director by the end of
April for $2 each or three for $5. .

Deanna Reavie and her assistant Sunday
School teacher, Mildred Cameron, took
their Sunday School class to visit with the
senior citizens at • Sepoy Apartments' on
Sunday for an Easter service. The resid-
ents were presented with a plant and a
candy treat.

Mrs. William Humphrey visited in tendon
on Friday with Evelyn and Doris' brother,.
Milvert Reid, who has been a patient in
University Hospital for the past three
weeks. This community sends wishes for a

The Fair Queen committee has been
busy preparing a very interesting competi-
tion. This year, a variety of prizes have
been donated toward the girls who
participate.
The horse and antique tractor pull
committees have prepared the rules for
these competitions on Family Fun Day
