'Stretch and Sew

The second meeth of the Kingsbridge
Actionwear 4-H club was held at the home of
Janet Card on Tuesday, February 26. The roll
call was answered by each member showing
three different knit garments from home and
telling their fibre content and care •instruc-
• tions. 4
Agnes Van Osch presided for the business
part of the meeting. The members decided to
call the club the Kingsbridge Siretrit and Sew
• Club. They divided into pairs and took their
•measurements and recorded them.

BUSHEL - Mr. and Mrs. William Bushell of
11.1, Wroxeter, are pleased to announce the
birth of their son, Adam John, 7 lbs. 3 oz., on
Mardi 2, 1985 at Wingham and District
Hospital. Proud grandparents are Morley and
Doris Bushell of Witighain and John and
Shirley Wright of R.1, Clifford. Great grand-
parents ate Majorie Harlines.s of Wingham,
Taurine Wright of R. 1, Clifford and Cora
Ban- of R. 1, Holyrood. Adam's great great
grandmother is Alice Horton of R 1, Clifford.

Visitors with Mrs. Bill Andrewand John for
the weekend were Louise '._;troh, Robert,
Andrew and Elizabeth of Stratford and Mr.
and Mts. Bob ROwswell, Robbyn and Jaemyn
of Londtin.
Get well wishes go out to Virginia Hackett,
who is a patient at Univesity Hospital in
London. • -
Jack and Dorma Alton enjoyed a three week
vacation at Zehyroills, Florida. While there
they visited with Ivan and Emma Rivett, Sam
and Anne Thompson and Wilfred and
Marjorie Pentland. They also enjoyed a trip to
Daytona to visit Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Alton and
Mark and Goldie Berger.
The Adult Ft.11oWship Group of 'trinity
United Church met at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Warren Zinn recently: The guest
speakers were Mr. and Mrs. Tony McQuail
who shared their faith, "The Society of
Friends". As Quakers, their cluistian belief is
being helpful to others: . .
Visitors with Reg and Freda Broome over
the weekend were Ken and Mary Scheerer,
Pam and Greg Of Goderrch, Torn and Rose
Broome, Diane and Patof Lucknow and Reg's
sister, Lillian.Young and William of - Tees -
water.
Congratulations to the lanesville Lords
who were the runnersup at the Palmerston
Broomball Tournament on the Weekend. The
team captain Gordon Kemp received • the
Silver Trophy on behalf of the team and the
team members each received silver medaLq.
