OBITUARY
Hazel (Anderson/Pardon
Dora Hazel Purdon of Pineaest Nursing
Home, formerly of Lick now and East W awa-
nosh Township, died Tuesday, February 19,
1985 in Wingham and District Hospital. She.
was in her 88th year.
Mrs. Purdon, along, with her husband,
Robert Stein Purdon, who died in 1964,
farmed in East Wawanosh Township. They
were married on April 15, 1918. She was a life
member of the Whitechurch Women's •
Institute and also a member of Chalmers
Presbyterian;, Church, Whitechurch.
Born in West Wawanosh Township, she
was the daughter of the late Archibald
Anderson and Janet Mclean.
She is survived by three daughters and one
son, Doreen and husband Gordon 'Rantoul of
Whitechurch; Murield and husband Lloyd
Moffat of Ludmow; Marjorie Bott of Leth-
bridge, Alberta; and Archie and Mildred
Purdon of R R 3, Wingham She is also •
sursived by. 13 grandchildren and 20 great
grandchildren. .
She was predeceased by two brothers, two
sisters and two grandsons.
The funeral service was conducted at the
McBurney Funeral Home by Rev. Paul L
Mu
Mills on February 22, 1985 at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers were Leroy Rintoul, Brian
Rintoul, Paul Curran, Don Brown, .Kevin
Falconer and Roy Gardner.
Flower bearers were Kim Rintoul, Kendra
Purdon, Jim Brown and Cathy Brown.
Donations to Chalmers Presbyterian
Church, Whitechurch or'the dimity of your ,
dhoice would be appreciated as expressions of
sympathy.
