Lucknow couples escape winter

ly honoured with a Queen's Counsel title.

At the school hockey Baine on Wed-
nesday the Mohawks jumped into an early
two goal lead, however the Warriors came
• back to tie the score and then to go in front
4 - 2. In the closing .two minutes, Bob
"Tonelli" Thomson and Tim "Langway"
Moss scored back to back goals to tie the
game at four all. .
Other Mohawk goal getters were Dennis
"Coffee" Ireland;, Billy "Reinhart" Curran
and Shauna "Valve" Andrew..
Both goal tenders, Donnie "Bourassa"
Gammie and Steven "Leinelin" Rintoul
played brilliantly. Referee was Mike "Vern
Buffey" M•
Several ass observed Valentine's
Day with a party'including hot dogs and or
cakes and cookies and a Valentine ex-
change. Mrs. Young's grade 1 made heart
shaped Valentine booklets.
Mr. Sygrove's class is beginning a study
of winter. birds,
Mrs. Tebbutt's grade 4 class helped 14
of their classmates celebrate birthdays at
the Valentine party.
Mr. Liddle's grade 6 and Mrs. Worsell's
grade 3 shared a party in the gym with hot
dogs and sweets.
The students' council conducted . a
Valentine heart game on Thursday and a
Sadie Hawkins dance in the gym at noon.
Spring is just around the corner.
Now is the time to finish those
indoor projects, before the warm
weather arrives.
