The A.C.W. held their annual pot ludo
dinner at the home of Mrs. Roy Collins on
Thursday when 14 enjoyed a delicious meal .
after Reverend Merelyn Letson asked the
blessing. A prettily decorated cake with six
lighted candles was brought to the table
and all sang Happy Birthday to Lucas
Thacker and all enjoyed the cake.
At the conclusion of the meal, the
president, Mrs. Delbert Hedley presided.
Mrs. Ronald Thacker read the minutes and
called the roll: •
Love, was the theme of the meeting.
Those participating in some thoughts on
the theme were Mrs. Eric Thacker, the
secretary, Kay Thacker, the hostess,
Maureen, the president, Joyce, also Mrs.

Letson.
Mrs. David Haldenby invited the ladies
to her home on 'Wednesday, March 20
when a woman of the Bible will •bethe roll
call and Reverend Merelyn Letson will be
the speaker. Mans were made for a parish
meeting at which time Janet Goldspink will
be the. special speaker.
Alicia Thacker gave 'everyone a pretty
Valentine. A money donation was voted to
the church youth group to make an. Faster,
banner for the church. A time of fellowship
was enjoyed and tea and cake served
before all headed homeward on a real
snowy 'day.

as the new teacher. After capturing the

: board - who resent a young woman telling
them what to do. The chairman is .a
bachelor who has designs of his own on the
new schoolmarm. This heart warming story
about hopes and dreams in tnew land is by
Ted Galay, author of After Baba's Funeral
and Sweet and Sour Pickles.
, Pblderland, Moose County, Beaux Gestes
and Beautiful Deeds, and Primrose School
District 109, will play • in repertory until
August 24. •

Garrison's Garage by Ted Johns. Garage
played to packed houses at each perform-
