Church installs elders and stewards
On Sunday, February 10, the congrega-
tion of Lucknow United Church celebrated
the Sacrament of Holy Communion and
observed the Installation of Officers who
were, elected at the annual congregational
meeting several weeks ago. Installed as
elders were Gerry Priestap, Bruce Mac-
Kenzie, Ernest Ackert, Greg Blake and
Bob Struthers. Installed as stewards were
Jim Pentland and Stuart Reavie.
The Sacrament of Infant Baptism was
celebrated on Sunday, February 17.
Received into the fellowship of Lucknow
United Church through infant baptism
were Janice Anne Eadie, daughter of Ken
and Joan Eadie and Timothy William ,
Eadie, son of Dave and Connie Eadie.

The members of Lucknow Presbyterian
Church held their annual meeting on Sun-
. day, January 27 following a delicious .pot,
luck dinner.
• The meeting was opened with scripture
and prayer by Rev. Allison Ramsay. Robert
• Gilchrist was appointed chairman for the
meeting and Nancy Brown was appointed
secretary. .

Ray Guay and Anne Hamilton, both of
Lucknow, were married at South Kinkiss
Presbyterian Church by Rev. Allison J.
Ramsay on December 29, 1984. The bride
is the daughter of Bruce and Margaret
Hamilton of incknow and' the groom's
parents are Claude and Loma Guay of
Lucknow. Cindy Moore of Whitediurch
was maid of honour and Cathy Hamilton,
• sister of the bride, of Lucknow and Anita
Elliott, sister of the groom, R 4, Ripley,
were bridesmaids. Lance Sanderson of
Lucknow was groomsman and guests were
• ushered by` Art Clark of Incknow and Ron
• Elliott, R 4, Ripley. A 'reception followed
at the Lucknow District Community
• Centre. FbIlowing a honeymoon to Florida,
the couple are residing at 446 Campbell
