They moved into the home they purchased on Ross Street on February 2. The house was formerly owned- . by Arnie Allen and previously by the late A. E. McKim. L' UCKNOW NEWS by Geraldine Schlosser We would like to express our sympathy to the families of the late Douglas Graham. He passed away at his home in Lucknow on Flriday. Charlie Davies spent a few days in Oshawa, where hismother is very ill. It was quite a site to see all the transport trucks alongside the- shop of Paul Gunter on Inglis Street waiting out the storm. They all pulled out on Saturday. Bob Purves, Ed and Brenda Lippert and Clare Sterner, Pat, Ernie Good and girls of Goderich and Geraldine and Mike Schlos- ser visited Veronica and Don Fraser and families at Whitechurch on Sunday and helped celebrate James' 8th birthday. Mrs. Collyer gave a reading, What Is A Friend, and Mrs. Joynt read a poem, Heart Gifts. Mrs. Thompson closed the devotions with a pryaer. Mrs. Collyer introduced the guest speaker, Murray Hunter of Wingharn, who had been on a field trip last June to: the Yukon with a group of elementary and secondary school teachers from. across, Canada. He gave a very interesting travelogue through slides, describing the people, the country's climate, geography CHURCH NEWS and history, relating interesting experienc- es he had enjoyed on the trip. Mrs. Joynt, on behalf of the unit, 'expressed thanks to Mr. 'Hunter for his most interesting and informative talk. Mrs. Bob Campbell, unit leader, Con ducted the business.
