The goOd woman did as she was told and by the time MacCrimmon reached the cabin; she was standing on the front stoop. "Good afternoon tae ye, Mrs. Mac - Rorie," MacCrienmon Said in a cheerful voice. Mrs. MacRorie was somewhat reassured by MacCrimmon's light hearted manner, but she wanted no harm to come to her husband. _ "Ye no gonna knock him about are ye, sir? HELENS by Kathryn Todd to south, Huron high school • Six elementary school principals and one secondary school vice-principal will be shuf- fled around this summer. Angus MacLennan, principal at Hullett Central, will replace Mr. Smith at the Goderich school.,Other principals to be shuf- fled are Bruce Robertson from Howick tral to Wingham Public School, Paul Statia • from Turnberry Central to Howick, John Mann from Wingham Public to Turnberry Central, Ron Jewitt Will •be going to Hullett Central from Colborne Central and John Ross will be moving from -Vanastra Public School to Colborne Central. . • Superintendent of personnel Peter 'Gryseels pointed out that although this leaves Vanastra Public School without a principal and KE. Madill without a vice.: principal, those, positions will be filled by Feb. 22. •• He indicated that the positions will be •advertised among the Huron teaching staff. • "We expect keen competition," said Mr. Gryseels. Isboel Miller add Helen Todd attended the funeral of Ann Todd in Goderich on Tuesday. Ann was the wife of Neely Todd of Stratford. She was in her 82nd year. Mr. and. Mis. Hugh Todd hosted a party for the Lucknow Intermediate ball team. Prior to the party a meeting was held to • discuss the upcoming season. • Schools were closed again on Friday while winter blasts dumped some more snow on the area.
